ORGANISER’S CONDITIONS

  1. The show is governed by the rules and regulations of the European Conference of Arab Horse Organisations – Blue Book 2010. Participants submit themselves to the judges' decisions that are limited to that particular show event and based on the classification system fixed in the entry form. The promoter has invited the judges, they work honorary and are not representatives of the societies they belong to.
     
  2. All horses must be free from infections and from a home stock free of epidemic diseases. They must be effectively vaccinated against INFLUENZA. The Vaccination Certificate has to be presented! A copy of the Vaccination Certificate and the registration certificate/equine passport has to be sent together with the entry form to the show organizer. (see Section 7 for full vaccination regulations)
    According to the DC veterinarian's decision any horse may be quarantined.
     
  3. An Application for Import to the UAE must be lodged with the entry along with the Blood Test Results for the horses. (see Section 8 - Import for Overseas horses)
     
  4. No compensation for the transportation costs can be granted.
     
  5. Reservation of box stables must be made together with the entry, along with the UAE transportation request (for International horses only).
     
  6. A staff list for access to the International Quarantine Stabling must be provided with the entry Only persons that need to enter will be permitted to do so.
     
  7. The Organisers are not liable for damages and accidents to participants, grooms, audience or fittings, nor are they liable for theft.
     
  8. The handlers are asked to wear proper and tidy clothes. They are allowed to wear any costume normally worn in their country of origin but without any advertising on it. The horses have to be presented in leather bridles or light halters. Stallions and colts aged three years and over must be shown wearing suitable bridles with bits.
     
  9. Stable equipment has to be provided by the exhibitors.
     
  10. All participating horses will be drug tested randomly on request of the DCs. In case the result is positive, costs have to be carried by the owner of the horse.
    All exhibitors will be expected to conduct themselves in the spirit of the rules of ethical show behaviour and will be held responsible for themselves and their handlers.
     
  11. Exhibit numbers, which must be returned, can be obtained from the Organiser’s office.
     
  12. Hotel Rooms will be provided for both the owner and trainer of International Horses only. Please complete the required form and lodge it along with the entry form. If this form is not lodged with the entry form, the provision of hotel rooms will not be guaranteed.

  14. UAE visit visas for staff accompanying horses will be provided by DIAHC. Please complete the relevant form and send it along with a CLEAR photocopy of the person’s passport. This must be lodged no later than the (TBA). After this date the Visa processing will not be the responsibility of DIAHC
     
  15. Bank Account details for the transfer of prize money for Non–ECAHO classes must be lodged with the Organiser prior to the completion of the event. All details will be confidential and submitted with the accounts department. Please complete the required form.
